Measure It Your Way

That's why this scale gives you both unit options, as well as grams and kilograms. It will remember your last unit selection, so there's no need to reset it every time.
Exceptional Capacity and Precision
The Epica measures up to 11 lbs. (5 kg), much more useful than the average kitchen scale that stops at 5 lbs. The readout is in decimal points, such as 00.000 lbs., a great help if you're using a calculator to divide a recipe. And it's precise down to .05 oz. (1 g), essential for accurate portion control.
Tare Function Calculates Net Weight of Food
Use the tare button to weigh the empty container and factor out that amount from the final readout. In a hurry? The Epica even lets you skip this step. Start with the scale turned off, place the empty container on it, and press the on button. This automatically tares the container's weight to zero, so you can now add the food and get an instant reading.
Convenient to Use
The extra large LCD display gives you a fast, easy-to-read weight, and saves the batteries by automatically shutting off after three minutes. A stable weighing platform and five nonslip rubber feet keep everything safe and secure. The Epica uses 2 AA batteries (included), which last longer and are easier to replace than the button batteries some scales require.
