Instructions for Use
1. Wash with soap and water before your first use. 2. It is recommended to fill the Pure Ice Cube Tray no more than 3/4 of the way with filtered water. 3. Place in the freezer. 4. Allow to freeze. 5. While removing from the freezer, grip the Comfort Grips while removing the Pure Ice Cube Tray to prevent freezer burn on your fingers. Do not pull on the comfort grips without gripping them. If you do not grip them, they may slide off. 6. Place the Pure Ice Cube Tray on your counter and let sit for a minute or two. After letting the Pure Ice Cube Tray sit on your counter for a minute or two, come back and with your left hand grip the comfort grip on the front of the ice cube tray and - with your right hand, lift up the handle to release the ice. Then pull out the divider and dump out the ice into a container for long term storage or use immediately. 6a. For faster release of ice: - While placing a hand over the top of the Pure Ice Cube Tray, flip it over and quickly run tap water along the bottom of the tray until you hear a 'Pop' - This method works but not nearly as well as letting the ice cube tray sit on the counter for a bit. - If you do this method, some ice cubes may need to be pushed out of the divider by hand - which is not a problem for many but for some, it is. 6b. For fastest release of ice: - Simply grip the comfort grip in the front with your left hand and lift up on the handle with your right hand. - Ice will break but will not be in uniform cubes. They will vary in size because the ice will be crushed by the divider - giving you some crushed ice. This is desired by some people. - You will find some ice cubes still stuck in the center of the divider, simply push them out. If they are frozen in there, let sit on the counter for a bit or run some water over it. 7. It is recommended to refill immediately so you can continue to have fresh and pure ice. NOTE: Regarding the Comfort Grips: - they are designed to prevent freezer burn and work well in doing so - they do not slip off if you grip them while holding on to them. They are not designed to be pulled on as they will slip off. In the event they slip off, simply put them back on. - the reason they are not glued on the Pure Ice cube tray is that Seeking Health did not want to place a toxic glue on an item that is intended to be pure.
