This is one of a kind tool. You can literally remove the meat quickly from its shell without cutting your fingers. The tool is made from strong stainless steel and a very heavy dishwasher safe handle. Directions: Step 1. Use a hammer to firmly strike the coconut in a straight line until it splits in half. Step 2. Slowly and carefully insert the blade between the coconut meat and shell. Step 3. rotate the coconut with one hand as you loosen the meat from the shell using the blade. Rotate the coconut and use the tool in a back and forth motion to separate the meat from deeper in the shell. Step 4. After several rotations, the meat will completely separate from the shell. Note: Please use caution while using. The Coconut Tool blade is very sharp.
